Tech Center schedules consist of three hours of Tech Center programming and three JIA courses.  Depending on the program, students are able to high school credit equivalencies. For more information on high school credits, please see the following chart.

OAISD Careerline Tech Center (CTC) is available to JIA junior and senior students, regardless of county of residence.  A tech center representative visits JHS each winter for an informational session for current sophomores and juniors.  Interested students then have the opportunity to visit programs at the center before the application window opens. Enrollment starts the middle of January.

KISD Kent Career Technical Center (KCTC) is available to JIA junior and senior students that reside in Kent County.  KCTC offers tours of their facilities and programs in the fall and spring. Enrollment starts the beginning of February.
